$2 million funding will be used to scale operations
ST. LOUIS, MO – Broadband digital commerce solutions provider Atlas Digital Group announced today that the company has secured $2 million in a second round of funding led by Cultivation Capital. First-round investors Cequel III, telecommunications industry leaders Tom McMillin, Gregg Graff and others participated again in this round, with the addition of industry veterans Terry Cordova, Andy Parrott and Justin Freesmeier.
The funding will be used to scale the company’s operations, continuing the successful model developed following the first funding round in 2021. This includes enhancing the company’s flagship product, CORE, a digital commerce platform that broadband industry providers are adopting in growing numbers to accelerate their customer acquisition.
Atlas CEO Mark Mihalevich said, “We are grateful to our people, clients and investors for their ongoing commitment to Atlas Digital Group. Our clients are choosing us because of both CORE and our culture of hard work, collaboration and innovation. We’re only beginning to scratch the surface of our potential to power the growth of the broadband industry.”
Heather Wood, general partner, Cultivation Capital, said, “Atlas Digital Group enjoys a unique advantage with a powerful product and deep industry expertise that make it possible for broadband providers to acquire customers quickly and easily. Atlas has a winning formula: a vision and a tremendous commitment to delivering a great customer experience.”
Mihalevich noted that Atlas Digital Group is emerging from a successful and pivotal year. In 2022, Atlas doubled its client roster, introduced eight new CORE features, performed more than 10 platform integrations and enhanced operations/client support in several areas. The company enjoys a high Net Promoter Score due to the strength of its client service and product reliability and enters 2023 achieving exceptionally strong financial results.
“The broadband industry is at an inflexion point,” he said. “Operators at the national and regional level are expanding to underserved communities and doubling down on their service to existing customers. Atlas Digital Group is well positioned to help them by giving operators the only digital commerce platform purpose-built for the industry. CORE makes it as easy for operators to acquire customers as the world’s best retail sites do.”
